1. Background of the anchor windlass:

It’s a complete new one to replace an old one for our client. And the installation space on ship is very limited, so the size of the windlass must be designed as much compact as possible. Finally we meet the requirement with our hard working, we made the reduction box as a three-stage transmission.

2. Design Standard:

The newest ABS standard be required for the windlass, that mean’s our windlass meet the latest specification requirements of ABS Classification Society. The Gypsy/chain wheel & Main Shaft be tested and by ABS before the assembly work.

The windlass contain: one electric motor, one reduction box, two gypsy/chain wheels, two warping heads, one major control box and one local control stand, etc.
